Also known as "Soozie B" I have been presenting on the station  since 2020.  I present a Saturday show every 4 weeks  called the "Boogie Bus", and a bi-weekly Sunday night show "The Weekend Wind Down". On occasions, I also cover the Deep House show "Life @120" on a Tuesday evening, and jump in to cover other shows when I can. Have played at various gigs such as the bumpy room at Cotswold Park Soul Weekend, Heavy Soul NYE Party, Ease Your Mind, B-side at The Bull and various Soulpower gigs and private parties.
Music has always been a big part of my life, and through the years I was always the one that would "sort the music" for friends and family for their party, night out or weekend away, and now I'm lucky enough to be doing it for our listeners!
Deep & Soulful house with a killer bassline is my favourite groove!

Paul Fossett

Coming from a musical family, I have music in the blood. I trained to become a sound engineer, working in the studio and live touring environments. I started DJ'ing from the age 14 and progressed to being booked for high end weddings and special occasions.  In 2014, I realised my life long dream of broadcasting on radio when I  joined Soulpower-Radio, playing a mixture of Jazz-Funk, Jazz-Dance, Afro and Latin House and all points between. My show called  'The Session"  airs on Monday nights from 8pm.

David Lyn

Founder of the ‘Music Without Labels’ brand, Dave is sometimes called ‘The Dark Lord of Wonky’ which is an affectionate term given by his fans for his esoteric and eclectic musical taste.  Dave has been instrumental with bringing artists such as Gerardo Frisina, Josh Milan, Vick Lavender, Ralf Gum , Crisitan Vinci , Elbert Phillips , Shamrock Guitor for the MWL A Night To Remember Events. Apart from promoting, Dave is also CEO of MWL Productions and has had a number of releases available on Bandcamp. Sonic Funk Foundry, Freestyle Records and MWL Productions.

Dave presents a live show every Tuesday from 6 - 8pm UK Time.

I seem to have been playing records forever having started DJing at 16 in 1975. I’ve been with the Soulpower Radio family for about 8 years now and share the Friday evening 6pm-8pm with Mark ‘Spit’ Fenton. I’m a fairly avid record collector and my tastes include: jazzy, afro and deep house, latin, modern soul, lovers rock, balearic and AOR. Over the years I’ve played at numerous clubs, weekenders and all-nighters/dayers and have promoted many soul nights and live acts.

Currently I co-run a monthly night in Portsmouth called Rotation and play out whenever invited.

I was into music in the late 70's, early 80's living in Chelmsford, running the the disco for Billericay Rugby Club at their functions. Used to go the Countryman pub, where Dr. Bob and Grumpy played on a Monday, plus the Goldmine on Canvey Island...then had decades away from the scene until relatively recently when (somehow), I heard about a guy called Paul Fossett on Soulpower Radio, and 90% of what he was playing was right down my street. It re-ignited the musical flame in a big way!! So after "stalking" him for a while we eventually met up at a MWL All dayer, and the rest they say is history...he encouraged me to send Bill a demo and through that I was offered a slot!  I have been presenting a Monday afternoon jazz-based show since February 2021.I also play a pub gig once every 2 months playing mainly soul, funk and a little jazz. I've met some fantastic people through the station, and truly feel like part of the Soulpower family.

Andy Coles

Affectionately known as "The Stretchy One"
I have been playing music since a teenager whether out at venues, or the very early house parties we all seemed to do in the early 80's when the scene died off as bit. Liking all black music genres, but probably specialise in Modern and Northern Soul, Jazz and chilled beats now. The 'Inspired show' Friday night 8-10pm, is an eclectic mix of all of the above, with the odd leftfield killer thrown in. Co-Promoter of the Cotswold Park Soul Weekender and proud of our allegiance with Soulpower radio and the great DJ team within.

Steve (Stevie O) O'Mahoney

Steve has been a regular on Soulpower since 2012 with "That Sunday Morning Feeling". With over 35 years experience behind him and a love for the odd, he tries to dig from a different crate than others.

My journey on Soulpower Radio started 6 years ago following a chat with David Lyn about joining the station.. and the rest is history as they say. I present the bi-weekly live ‘Beats & Pieces’ show on a Saturday lunchtime from Midday which is a mix of mainly new soulful releases, some older tunes either in their original versions, or remixed & reworked for today’s audiences and also a healthy dose of the latest soulful house tracks. My love of Soul, Jazz & Funk started like many of my age, in the mid 80’s listening to the legendary Robbie Vincent on Radio 1 in the UK on Sunday nights, hearing him play the likes of Al Hudson & One Way, Anita Baker, Bobby Womack, Chapter 8, Maze feat Frankie Beverly & Will Downing amongst many others and I’ve been collecting and playing soul, funk, jazz and so much more since then, and still finding old tunes that are new to me. Now into my sixth year on the station, I can honestly say that I have met some amazing people that have become family & good friends.
